First Time Voter Vlog | 2020 Election

First Time Voter Vlog | 2020 Election

By: Gabriella Alleyne

This year in April, I turned 18;  this meant I had the opportunity to vote in the 2020 Election! I was so excited, and this moment was one of the things I was looking forward to this year especially because this was such an important election in the history of our country. On November 3, I voted in person with my whole family, and I decided to vlog my experience to share it with Kaleidoscope Teen Magazine. I wanted to document this day because I felt like I was able to participate in getting my voice heard and voting to make a change in our community and country.

If you are 18, please register to vote and if you are younger see if you can pre-register to vote! It is important for us, the younger generations, to get our voices heard!
